where do I buy one? Seriously, this is perfect for me because I often leave my car for point to point bike rides, or hikes and ever since I lost my keys parked illegally offroad, I no longer take my keys with me. Also, having some money in there means I could leave my wallet at home and still buy dinner after the ride. Found it

not sure I'd use it for anything other than storing a key, sticking your credit card in there seems a little foolish considering all the places inside a car/truck you could hide a card

Neat idea, but I can imagine it being fill of rust after a good winter.

Interesting.

Much more secure than a hide-a-key.

But a bit less useful, if you have to stash it inside the vehicle when using the hitch receiver for it's intended use, and happen to lock ourself out.

Yep. hitchsafe.com. I should have included that. I was thinking this would be perfect for runners/cyclists.

I often do a 20 mile mountain bike where you have to shuttle and I need to leave my keys and money in my car down below to buy dinner and shuttle back to the other car. Also, when I ski or bike I NEVER take my keys with me...anymore.

I keep a little pouch under my seat. It hasn't failed me yet, but if I rode in areas where I had the potential to lose my whole bike down a cliff or something, I wouldn't take anything, either.

This is great until someone un-bolts your entire trailer hitch assy and gets your wallet as a bonus.

Is hitch theft a big thing? I've never installed a hitch, but I figured there are measures in place to keep them secure.
